2012 March: Random events this year so far...

In a way to try to catch up, for our own sake, on what we have been doing this year, here is a little update.  Some things exciting, others not so much.

Nash was chosen to go to THIMUN at The Hague again this year.  It is a mock United Nations and lasts for a week.  He was also chosen to be the ambassador for the country his school was representing.  That meant he gave special speeches and was judged by a panel on what he spoke about and how relevant his arguments were.

Nash, with the group from his school at the Hague.

Mallory, so excited to go to school on Spirit Day.  School colors are black and red, obviously, and she requested that I paint her nails black and red also.  She always likes to match!

Luke's birthday.  We have a never ending problem in this household.  Every time it's someone's birthday and we try to get a nice family picture...they just can't do it!

And sometimes I'm guilty as well.  But Creed's face is classic in this shot!

 Almost...nice smile Nash.

Oh NERF, you never cease to amaze me by the things you come up with that so delight my boys!  Luke, demonstrating the appropriate facial expression for throwing his new birthday gift, the NERF hatchet.

Happy Birthday Luke!

Luke and Grant had a swim meet at school with several other schools across Europe.

 Go Blazers!

I got an email saying my dear friends from Germany were going Polish Pottery shopping...again...how could I pass up the chance to see them all?

Nash was inducted into the National Honors Society.   Go Nash!  He didn't know it involved a special candle ceremony!  HA!

 Congrats Nash!

For my birthday this year, Creed bought a yummy ice cream cake from Daubner, a famous ice cream and pastry shop here in Budapest.

See, still no serious picture.  Nash and Luke were cracking up about something, probably Creed's expression!
