Photos: Sept / Oct 2008 - Around Bad Godesberg

Grant and Luke picked these (and another whole bag of) apples from the trees that are around the property of our landlord.

I have been talking about rabbit stew for more than 15 years. Heidi has always vetoed the idea. One day, I finally decided to just do it. Everyone was happy to try it, except Heidi. She eventually tried it, though, and even admitted that it tasted "OK."

We love having a fireplace and a big pile of firewood in our backyard. When our heaters weren't working (they are now, though) we got in the habit of making a fire on Sunday afternoons.

Big mushroom and Playmobil toys - I'm not sure they actually go together.

A little track and field action from Mallory that she was insistent I capture on camera.

Our "city" is called Bad Godesberg because of this hill, and the Burg on the top of the hill - dating back to the 1200s - 1400s (built, rebuilt, etc. over several years).

On the way up the hill.

At the top of the tower of the Burg.
