In Jakarta getting ready to board the first of many flights on this 10 day trip to China.
We stayed overnight in Singapore at the airport hotel, then got up early for the flight from Singapore to Beijing. Here's Nash & Luke reading in the airport. Nash is reading the 5th Harry Potter book - as you can see he is at the beginning of this 950+ page book. He finished the book by the end of the trip. Luke also finished his Magic Tree House book half-way through our trip and kept asking us to go to bookstores to look for another one.
On Saturday morning we went to the Great Wall at Simatai. Luke and I are in the cable car to take us near the top of the mountain - as you can see from the background - it was cloudy/foggy, rainy, and cold.

I included this photo, which we took on the way back down when it was sunny, so you can see the Great Wall in the distance on the top of the mountain.
