The day after we arrived in Jakarta, we took a flight to Singapore (only 1 hour away) to stay for a day and a half. We gave our passports to someone to take to the Indonesian embassy in Singapore to make arrangments for our visas. We spent the day at Sentosa Island in Singapore while we waited for our visas.
